When I First Saw You

A dream it was, a dream it is
I dream of you, how sad the truth
I fell for you, you fell for me
The love was true, but I was not

You mend my heart, I broke yours
Now my heart's broken, where is yours?
I wish I knew what to say to you
To bring you back, to bring love back

Now I can only sit here and write
A sad love song, for no one to hear
I wish I could say something to you
That could bring it all back

All back to when I first saw you.

-- E.Y.

I found this poem (or a song lyric? I ain't sure) on the blog of this Singaporean fella I know for his cover videos on YouTube. He was quite active back then, posting videos of him covering songs such as Katy Perry, The Script, etc, and he's also quite a talent that he often made his own songs. One of my favorite song he ever created is called "Not Tonight". I wish I could show you how good he is, but he's already deleted his account in YouTube because I guess he's going to make an album since he performed in MFW in Singapore last year.

I post up this poem simply because I love the words he's written, at that time it suited me very well, how I was experiencing quite the same situation. Sometimes it seemed like he's reading my mind, because the timing was so perfect, his video sometimes just so like my condition. Lol. Maybe I'm just over thinking, maybe.

Anyway, I hope he'll be success (he's already in NYC now btw). I hope the album will make a huge and awesome breakout!

I mend your heart, you broke mine.

One Step Closer

Have you guys seen the newest movie of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn? The story of a stunning vampire falling in love with a human is nearly come to an end. This last movie divided into 2 parts, the first one has been on cinema since 18th of November. Me, myself, have seen in last weekend, the day after the premiere, with my sister. In my personal opinion, it isn't as good as I expected. You know, when you've read the book you'll have more expectation that the movie would be so great, but when you finally see it, turned out it's far behind your expectation, plus there're lots of scenes that are not shown.

For me the best ones in this movie is on the quarter first. The wedding and the honeymoon (minus the scene showing how aggressive their post-wed life). What I love is when it's shown how Edward and Bella spent their day playing chess, I never know chess would be that fun and such a romantic game to play with your loved one. I always find chess is so boring. Lol.

About the soundtrack, I really fall in love with "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri. This song is so sweet I never bored repeating it over and over again. Tho I'm a bit disappointed this song wasn't on the movie. I thought it'd be played for the wedding scene.

Anyway, after some time of hiatus, I'm finally posting outfit again. This was the outfit I wore to one of my friend's 17th birthday party, but I didn't have the time to take pics so I take shot on the other day.

Believe it or not, I took these shots without any help from anyone and without any tripod, since I broke my tripod months ago.

A friend of mine said that my eyeliner makes my eyes look like cleopatra's, tho I still don't know how could that be. What do you think?

Imagining me with red hot lip. Lol. Gotta try it in real life one day when I'm bold enough.

Vogue US November 2011

The sadness of wartime in the 19th century beautifully represented by the talented Arizona Muse and actor Jeremy Irvine in the shots titled Call In The Cavalry. Photographed by David Sims and styled by Grace Coddington, this November issue showing the loneliness of a woman who's left by her soldier lover to a war. A dramatic set showing the elegance and graceful attires of countryside women.

The gowns and outfits used here are from Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, and others.

I love how this coat looks. Green Army colored, nice.

We Found Love

Have you seen Rihanna's latest music video titled "We Found Love"? The first time I saw this video I can directly guess that the speaker of the monologue is Agyness Deyn. Her voice is so unique and typical, you can name it right after you hear it. The gorgeous and sexy thick British accent is quite obvious. I'm a big fan of British accent and I really love her voiceover.

“It’s like you’re screaming but no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed that someone could be that important, that without them, you feel like nothing. No one will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel hopeless, like nothing can save you. And when it’s over and it’s gone, you almost wish that you could have all that bad stuff back so you can have the good.”

You can watch it here.

The video basically tell about the wild love Riri and a "Chris Brown" looked alike have. Sex, drugs, parties, and so on. People said that this video's actually representing Rihanna's love life with Chris Brown, that's why the guy really looks like him. Quite possibly, Rihanna's still not over him.

The lyrics mainly is just about
"We found love in a hopeless place."

Lanvin Spring 2012

If you follow and read my twitter, I've promised that I will post up the PFW review tonight. Yeah, I fulfill my word. Been drown in the sea of ASSignments, here I am coming back to give my review of Lanvin Spring 2012 during the Paris Fashion Week 2011.

As predictable, Lanvin still with it's own simple yet fabulous styled by Alber Elbaz giving us the gorgeous looks with sharp cuts and light fabrics dominated with dark colors; black, grey, although there're some of brgiht colored dresses too. The collection also come with decorative jewelry such as stones, crystal crosses, bird shaped necklaces, and chokers. You can also see some snake prints here.

My favourites.

I love how this blush dress looks, simple, falls perfectly. The kind of dress you'd like to wear million times because it's so comfortable you're just addicted to it. This one is kinda versatile, I guess, you can wear it to parties, or just to hang out with your friends to some fancy places.

I Don't Wanna Say Goodbye

It's been quite a long time since the last time I post something, well, I was kinda busy with my university stuffs I barely have time to spare it doing anything else, and when it comes to the holiday season I suddenly became too lazy to do anything, I just couch potato-ing watching my DVDs collection. So I apologize for my lack of post.

Anyway, this post is kind of the sad one, I've been losing many of my friends because they're going away studying abroad. This one is my friend from my Senior High, the joker in the group, named Entjek Stefinda. We had the farewell dinner the day before she went off to Vancouver. She went away so sudden, I first thought she's joking but turned out it's all real. When we escorted her to the airport, almost all of us were blubbering, even one of my male friend. It's simply because we really love her, she's kinda the sunshine here, always cheerful and full spirited. It's a great loss for us, but we all know that this is for the best, for her better future.

I Love Beach, but I'm No Bitch

Yeah, I do love beach, even though I can't stand the heat bigtime, but I still love spending my time playing around or even do nothing at the beach. Honestly, this one over here wasn't a real beach, anyway, it's actually just a headland but they made it looks like seashore by adding the beach sands.
